LOUISE JACQUELINE

Hello, I’m Louise, living in Paris but born & grew up in the Netherlands with a French mother & Dutch father.

I know it sounds like a cliché or good marketing story, but I really grew up between the famous Dutch tulip fields, cultivated by my parents!

As a little girl I have always been surrounded by flowers, anemones, gladiolus, crocuses and tulips.

These impressive long fields that colour the Dutch landscapes have marked and inspired me.

The tulip to me is a personification of a strong, pure and radient women. Just like us women, tulips exist in many different shapes and colours, all of them are perfect in their own personal way.

EXPERTISE

My permanent collection, a selection of truly unique handmade, tailored dresses, is made with an artisanal ‘savoir-faire’, promoting slow-fashion and up-cycling by using dead-stock textiles of the French couture houses.

Every piece is made by me, like a piece of art - unique, timeless and eternal. My studio is located in a beautiful traditional ‘passage’ near Bastille and is shared with other French brands with the same values for an artisanal creation process.

I propose you an unforgettable experience dedicated to some of the most important moments of your live. Both wedding dresses and formal gowns - short and long - are tailor-made to suit each client’s personality.

INITIAL APPOINTMENT

I invite you to my studio to meet and share a unique and creative moment where we get to know each other and discuss about your wishes, this is including a fitting session and I will be taking your measurements.

Following this meeting I will send you 3 customised proposals in the form of sketches, unless a dress is chosen from the permanent collection.

Now it’s up to you, choose your perfect design and we can start creating! At the same moment a first payement, corresponding to half of the total amount, is asked when you sign the quotation.

INITIAL FITTING

This is a toile à patron fitting, if needed, this is allowing me to make adjustments in length, lines and volumes.

During this fitting I will offer you a choice of colours and exquisite materials specially selected for the creation of your unique piece !

SECOND FITTING

I will unveil the dress in the final fabric, ready to be tried on for the first time! The finishing touches and lining have yet to be included in order to allow for final adjustments.

FINISHING TOUCH

The final step! You will try on your nearly finished dress. The final details and adjustments will be made after this fitting.

The final step! The client is trying on her nearly finished dress. To complete the outfit, the final details and adjustments are made.

THE DELIVERY

Your dress is ready! You can now come to the atelier to do a final fitting and take it home with you.

TIME LIMIT

For the creation of your tailor-made dress, allow me about three months, from the first appointment till delivery.
